Shipping Meme: Säde Pekkanen-Winston/Cadogan Thomas
Who cooks: Cadogan. But for the kids. Not for her. He cooks with Leigh and then for the bitty ones and sometimes Sade steals a bite of something but really, it’s not a relationship thing between them. It’s between him and the kiddos.
Who does the laundry and other chores: Not Sade. Usually there are Twos and Threes who manage for them, and sometimes Cadogan attacks disorganization to clear his head, but never really Sade.
How many children do they have: Three, if you count Leigh. Two from sexy fun, being Brice and Gwawr. They would also ocassionally claim one another as children, but really, then we get to the fact that the only real adult in this entire relationship is Leigh.
Who’s more dominant: Sade by faaar. It isn’t a ‘real relationship’ until Brice arriving makes Cadogan get a bit more of a backbone, but generally speaking, no matter how much spark Cadogan manages to muster, he’s going to give in to her sooner rather than later.
Favorite nonsexual activity: Traveling. They can stand each other a lot better when they’re out of the structure of the Deck. Usually they’re pretending to be just a pair of people or a married couple, and they can sort of… relax into that while they do whatever it was they’ve been sent Off-Deck to do.
Their favorite place to be together: Her bed. Hands down. They’re both easier to deal with while half-asleep. Being in her bed is also a sign that she’s probably in a good mood, generally, which makes life easier.
Any traditions: They’re both incredibly respectful of minding each other’s heritage. Welsh national holidays and Finnish national holidays are made time for by both of them, although certainly him more than her.
Their “song”: We all know it’s ‘Short Skirt Long Jacket' (Cake) in every single universe, but when they're actually together in a universe where they have children? It's also 'The Cave' (Mumford & Sons).
What they do for each other on holidays: It depends on the holiday. As mentioned about traditions, they both are mindful about candle-lighting and poppy-wearing, but beyond that, they don’t overly celebrate. They like to celebrate quietly for Leigh, although they tend to do it separately. They both get into better habits of trying to celebrate together when Brice is born. They never get anything for each other. (They usually end up sleeping together, even if it’s just sleeping.)
Where did they go for their honeymoon: …no. …okay but if she ever half-mumbled in sleep he could plan a wedding if the damn kids wanted it so bad, he would drag Sade to the Westfjords for a few days while Leigh watched the little ones.
Where did they first meet: In the halls of being Diamonds together and he probably walked into a wall because holy fuck, so this is what people meant when they said ‘Diamond.’
Any pets: Thyme. Thyme isn’t getting kicked out. Sade and Thyme actually probably get on better than Sade and Cadogan lbr.
What do they fight over: I don’t think there are things they don’t fight over, particularly if one or both is/are feeling contrary.
Do they go on vacations, if so where: They take the kids to visit family in Wales and Finland sometimes. It counts.
